Recital Edition -- News & Notes

Recital is Coming -- May 22 & 23! It's Recital Season! I am so excited for this recital.  The dancers are looking fantastic, and their hard work it about to culminate into a super-fun show.  This newsletter will fill you in on Dress Rehearsals, Studio Pictures, and Recital Info.  This is a Must Read!       RECITAL IS MAY 22-23! I can't remind everyone of this enough.  Recital dates were set in August and shared with you in the Studio Calendar at the beginning of the year.  ALL dancers will perform both nights at the recital, with the exception of the Tuesday 6:30-7 class who only performs Thursday night.  On Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd, High School dancers have a 6:00 call to the auditorium; All elementary dancers have a 6:30 call.  The show begins at 7pm. **Please note:  Every dancer is important in every dance.  If we're missing someone during a performance it throws the whole class off!   Dress Rehearsal May 10th @ 8am First of all, our group rehearsal in April was FANTASTIC!  You all have amazing kids who know how to come and work hard!  Saturday, May 10th is our dress rehearsal at the Delaware County Rec Center on the Fairgrounds in Manchester.  Time is 8am, and dancers need to bring ALL COSTUMES.  The rehearsal is set to go to NOON.  We have often finished early in years past, so please have a way for your dancer to contact you if we get done early.  Also, we'd like to keep this a closed rehearsal. Dancers should bring quiet materials to busy themselves when they're not dancing.  Clear liquids only (water is the best choice) and no "messy" foods. *The Tuesday 6:30-7:00 class need to arrive at 8am, but will be done by 9am.  Parents of those students are asked to stay with their kiddos! Final Dress & Pictures -- May 21st This rehearsal is at the West Delaware Auditorium in Manchester.  We are going to run studio pictures the same night as Rehearsal so we don't have to pack another day into our weeks, and no one misses any class.  Dancers need to arrive, dressed and ready to go in their hip hop costumes, by 4:45pm.  If you're dancing in Recital, this rehearsal is MANDATORY.   More info on pictures will be sent home before Recital Tickets for Recital Once again, we are offering Pre-Sale Tickets for Recital.  Advance prices are as follows Family 4-Pack -- $12 Single Ticket -- $4 If you would like to order tickets, please submit your order AND payment to me NO LATER than Friday, May 16th.   Tickets at the door will by $5 for ages 12 and up, $4 for ages 5-11, and free for kiddos 4 and under. Order your tickets in advance for the best deal!   Communication If you need to contact me regarding studio business, the best medium is e-mail or phone call.  I don't always take the time to respond to text messages.  You can also set up a time to meet with me if that is more convenient for you!
