Never Miss a Chance to Dance! 'Tis The Season... ...for finalizing recital music!  The kids have picked out some super fun music for recital this year, and we're already having a great time working on it!  I can't believe how quickly this fall has flown by!  This newsletter will let you in on all of the happenings from now until the end of 2012! Parent Observation  The next Observation Day for the Create & Move class is Tuesday, December 5th.   Christmas Cabaret I am pleased to announce Cafe' Rose' and Fusion DanceWorks are teaming up again this year to present the Christmas Cabaret!  We've made a few changes and improvements this year to make the event run a bit smoother, and we hope you're excited for this event!  Here are the details:  Performances will be held Saturday, December 15 at 1:30p and 6:00p, and Sunday, December 16 at 1:30p.  Each performance will feature a different menu and different dances.   The Saturday Matinee will be a "kid-centered" show featuring the Lower Elementary Combo class, Upper Elementary Combo class, and Upper Elementary Hip Hop Class.   The menu will feature hot chocolate, christmas goodies, and finger foods.  There will also be music, activities, and games for all the kids.  Cost is $8/person (kids, too) or a 4-pack of tickets for $30. The Saturday Evening performance will feature a 4-course, fine-dining meal.  We will present dances from the Junior High/High School Combo class, and studio soloists.  We will also welcome some vocalists to the stage, as well as area Improv performers!  Cost is $25/person in advance, or $30/person at the door. The Sunday Matinee will be a true cabaret.  Very light-hearted, interactive, and a lot of fun!  The menu will consist of gourmet appetizers and decadent desserts.  Once again, we will welcome Improv performers and vocalists!  Dancers featured will be the Upper Elementary Combo class, the Junior High/High School Combo class, and studio soloists.  Cost is $25/person in advance, or $30/person at the door.  Tickets for kids 12 and under are $15.   If your child will NOT be dancing in the show this year, please let me know as soon as possible!   If you were able to join us for the Cabaret last year, I hope you had an amazing time and will plan on joining us again this year!  If you haven't experienced the Cabaret, then get ready to make it a holiday tradition!   NUVO Dance Convention Fusion will once again be travelling to Chicago for the NUVO Dance Convention March 22-24, 2013.  This event has been selling out all over the country, so we need to get registration in early this year!  If you are interested in attending, please talk to me ASAP!  All forms and convention costs will be due to the studio by January 21st.  For more information about NUVO, visit www.gonuvo.com. Reminders  ~Please make a note on your calendars that tuition is always due at the first class of each month.  A late fee is added after the 15th of the month.  ~All studio policies can be found in the handbook on the FusionDanceWorks website.   ~I have created a Google Calendar for the studio this year, located on the website.  It will be the place to check for class changes and make-ups.  Please check here often.   ~If you need to contact me regarding studio business, the best medium is e-mail or phone call.  I don't always take the time to respond to text messages.  You can also set up a time to meet with me if that is more convenient for you!
