NEWS AND NOTES -- SEPTEMBER 2012

Never Miss a Chance to Dance! Let's Get Started! It's time to start another dance year!  I'm happy to welcome back many dancers from last year as well as get to know some new dancers!  The beginning of the year is always a busy time especially as students and families are settling into their fall schedules.  These monthly newsletters will hopefully cover all information you need and any questions you may have!  Please make sure "[email protected]" is in your address book so you ensure the e-mail ends up in your inbox each month!     Studio Policies A student handbook will be reviewed and sent home with all students after their first class.  Please keep this, as it covers all guidelines and policies of the studio, including dress code, weather, and make-up classes.  Additionally, all studio policies can be found in the handbook on the Fusion DanceWorks website.   Tuition Please make a note on your calendars that tuition is always due at the first class of each month.  A late fee is added after the 15th of the month.   Studio Calendar I have created a Google Calendar for the studio this year, located on the website.  It will be the place to check for class changes and make-ups.  Please check here often.   Bring a Friend to Dance! Students are invited to "Bring a Friend to Dance" through October 17th.  If that student registers for classes, you'll receive a tuition discount during the month of November! Parent Observation  There will only be Parent Observation in the Create & Move class this year.  The dates for Parent Observation will be: October 3 December 5 February 6 April 10 If you would like to observe your child's class at another time, please let me know.     Communication If you need to contact me regarding studio business, the best medium is e-mail or phone call.  I don't always take the time to respond to text messages.  You can also set up a time to meet with me if that is more convenient for you! (tentative dates) 7pm ATTENTION GROWN-UPS! Did you know Fusion has classes for you, too?!?!  Strength and Stretch Class This class combines pilates, yoga, and low-impact aerobic activity to burn fat and build muscle.  Bring a mat or towel. Bare-feet or socks. Come on out and give it a try!  Begins Tuesday, September 11 from 7-7:45pm Ends October 16th. Only $40 for the 6-week session! Any questions, contact Miranda.
