Dance families, I am so excited to share that we'll be back in the studio beginning Wednesday, 11/18.
Dance studio and gym owners across the state have been reaching out to the governor's office and Iowa Public Health all day. Studio owners from Cedar Rapids even started a petition outlining safety measures they're taking in studio to keep dancers safe. I hope my dancers can learn that it's important to speak up when you want to encourage CHANGE! Now, here are the nuts and bolts of this: We MUST maintain 6-foot social distancing throughout classes, we MUST wear masks, and no more than 15 people are allowed indoors at any given time. PLEASE DO NOT arrive early for your dance class! To control numbers, we cannot have two groups in the building at one time. We will continue with our Thanksgiving Break as scheduled next week. If you are at ALL concerned about potential COVID exposure during your Thanksgiving Holiday, PLEASE plan to Zoom into class that first week back. A BIG part of us being in the studio is taking care of one another and keeping the studio HEALTHY. Additionally, if you are concerned about local Covid numbers, remember Zoom is ALWAYS an option for weekly classes. Your dancer can continue to participate and learn without concern of exposure. I am so touched and humbled by the love you all have shown me in the past 24 hours. I shared with a fellow studio owner today that I truly have the greatest Dance Family at Fusion. I am so thankful for all of you.
